Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT)
"Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT) was established in the year 2007, with an intake of 240 students in four B. Tech programs under Social Educational Trust in Nambur village, Guntur, AP, by Er. VasireddyVidyaSagar. It is located strategically between Guntur and Vijayawada in the capital region of Amaravati, AP. In a short span of 15 years, with an annual intake capacity of 1914 and 72 students into B.Tech (CE, EEE, ME, ECE, CSE, IT, CSM, CSO, CIC, AIM and AID) and M. Tech (CSE, VLSI&ES, PEED, MD, SE) programmes respectively, today more than 6000 students, 345 teaching staff and 225 non-teaching staff strive to fulfil the vision of VVIT."
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at VVIT, established in 2007, offers B.Tech and M.Tech programs, as well as a minor in CSE for non-CSE students. Recognized by JNTUK as a University sponsored Research Centre, it maintains active collaborations with industry leaders through MoUs with companies like Google CodeLabs, Infosys, and Microsoft. The department features five air-conditioned computer centers with 296 systems, an Embedded AI/DL Lab, and hosts numerous symposia, conferences, and workshops. Alumni are placed in top MNCs with packages ranging from 2.4 to 28 LPA. CSE faculty focus on holistic student development, fostering innovation, professionalism, and ethical values.
