Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology, Nambur, organized a two-day National E-Conference on Electrical Electronics and Computing Systems in Engineering ( EECSE-2020), sponsored by AICTE, under the theme “Application of Power Electronics in Renewable Energy
Systems and Electrical Drives using IoT”, scheduled during 20-21 July 2020 as informed by Sri Vasireddy Vidya Sagar, Chairman of VIVA-VVIT Institutions.
The e-Conference Chair Dr K.Giribabu, Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Dean of Studies, VVIT, informed that this is the 2nd NATIONAL CONFERNCE being organized by VASIREDDY VENKATADRI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. He added that this year due to the unprecedented outbreak of dangerous COIVD-19 Pandemic, they organized this EECSE-2020 as e-conference, on digital platform by taking in to account of several trade-offs and excessive safety measures as suggested by the AICTE.
Earlier, the chief guest and key-note address speaker of this e- conference Dr. Chinmoy Saha, Associate Professor, Department of Avionics, Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology, Trivandrum, Kerala, delivered his inspiring speech on this digital platform to all the registered delegates across the state. In his speech he emphasized on pervasive computing techniques in Electrical Electronics and CSE/IT engineering especially in Artificial Intelligence and Signal Processing using Internet of Things.
Later in the day-1 EEE stream of presentations, Sri Kota Nagar Srinivasa Rao Batta, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Warangal, Telangana, acted as the key note speaker and delivered latest trends and technologies and research progresses in Electronics and Communication Engineering, in a simple and illustrative manner for all the delegates.
On the same day-1 for ECE stream of presentations, Dr. T.Narasa Reddy, Assistant Professor, Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, acted as the guest speaker and enlightened the audience with the IoT augmentation of Electronic devices in Renewable energy with power electronics.
The chief guest and key-note speaker of day-2 of conference Prof. Dr. R.Padmavathy, Associate Professor of NITW, Warangal, Telangana, overwhelmingly addressed the e-conference audience about the recent developments and ensemble techniques which are fast growing in every domain of research especially in network security in cyber world with a comprehensive grass root level case study of analyis.
The Chairman of VIVA-VVIT Institutions, Sri Vasireddy Vidya Sagar, a silent visionary with a missionary zeal, in this regard stated that the institute is always ready to support and take up any challenging step forward in to the realization of its vision. The institute is fully equipped with all cutting-edge technological facilities including Siemens’ CoE, GoogleCodeLabs, Dassault’s Systems Lab and the intellectual scholarly research faculty, to inculcate the research spur in students from the very early stages of exploring core engineering concepts. He congratulated all the e-conference team and researchers for making constructive and successful utilization of lockdown period of educational institutions.
Dr. Y.Mallikharjuna Reddy, Principal of VVIT-the e-host Institute of this e-conference stated that they are proud to organize it on digital platform and added VVIT always motivates true researchers while showing extreme interest in joining hands with quality innovative research organizations and communities that provide ample platform for the true global recognition of every aspiring domestic researcher. He also added that VVIT is maintaining strong research groups and conducting research colloquia often for churning out the quality research. Dr Reddy also inspired the young researchers that the fruits of true research should help better the living standards of every citizen across the society.
Dean of Studies Prof. N.Kumara Swamy, of VVIT congratulated all the delegates and advised that presentation of once research work, of whatever quantity and quality it is, will help the scholar to right-tune thyself with the quality, novelty and ground breaking research techniques while defending their iota of work before the experts.
The Conference Convener Dr. Ch.V.Suresh informed that the aim of this e-conference has been achieved successfully by catering the acute research needs of aspiring research scholars. He revealed that nearly 85 manuscripts were short-listed for presentation in the e-conference after scrutinizing 159 manuscripts received during 1st Jun to 12th July 2020 in a qualitative careful double blind folded review by experts in the Conference Review Experts Panel.
Later, in four streams channeled in parallel for ECE, EEE, CSE and IT, the research paper presentations were conducted under the supervision of expert members from the Conference Review Experts Panel as Chairs.
On the valedictory the conference convener, Dr. Ch.V.Suresh, thanked all the Key Note Speakers, Special Guests, Chairman of VIVA-VVIT Institutions Sri Vasireddy Vidya Sagar and conference Chair Prof. K.Giribabu and Secretary S.Badari Prasad Joint Secretary Sri M.Srikrishna and Principal Dr. Y.Mallikarjuna Reddy and Dean of Academics Prof. N.Kumara Swamy and all Heads of Departments for extending their support in materializing this E-Conference.
He also congratulated all the members of advisory and organizing committees and Expert Review Panel of this distinguished e-conference, which is going to publish its proceedings in ESCI Journals and index all the accepted manuscripts in Web of Science data bases, a place where every research scholar always dream to.
A number of 85 research articles and 179 research scholars participated in this e-conference as informed by the Convener. E-certificates were processed to all the scholars for their digital participation in this national level e-conference.
